Messrs Emmy Jamil was established since January 2019 by Emmy Hazwani Jamil, upon commencing legal practice of her own after 7 years with Messrs Arifin & Partners and 9 years since admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
About Us
The firm’s founder, Emmy Hazwani Binti Jamil read law at International Islamic University Malaysia and graduated in June 2009. Upon graduation, she did her chambering at Messrs Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah. During her pupillage, she was exposed to the practice of general and civil litigation. She was then admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 4th June 2010.
She then continued her legal practice at Messrs Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah for a year where her practice was focused on commercial and civil litigation. Thereafter, she joined Messrs Arifin & Partners in November 2011.
Emmy Hazwani had served as Senior Associate of Messrs Arifin & Partners where she was exposed to a wide range of general and civil litigation practices and had the opportunities to handle matters in the apex court and the involvement of her can be seen from some of the reported case law.
